Empire Revolution State Champions Represent NY West at Regional Championships

Empire Revolution Soccer Academy’s state champions represented New York State West in 14 of 16 age groups in the US Youth Soccer Region 1 Championships in Lancaster, PA. This is the second step of the National Championship Series.
 
Overall, five Empire Revolution teams advanced through group play and to the semi-finals of their respective age group. This is more semi-finalists than any other club in Region 1.

Of our 5 semi-finalist teams, the Empire Revolution - Syracuse U19B team was crowned USYSA Region 1 Champions.

They earned a berth in the National Championship Finals that were held July 24-29, in Rock Hill, SC. Along with our Empire USA Syracuse team (NYSW, Region I), was GSA 93 Phoenix Red (Ga, Region III), West Cost FC (CA-S, Region IV) and eventual BU19 National Champions Crew Jr. (OS, Region II).
 
Notables:

Empire Revolution - Syracuse U12G played a very dominating game against the ENY Alleycats but just could not get it past the keeper who made a number of great saves. Both teams ended up advancing to the play-offs.

Empire Revolution - Rochester U12B fought back from 3-0 down only to lose it with 2 minutes to go.

Empire Revolution - Buffalo U14B semi-final match was also hotly contested.

Empire Revolution - Syracuse U18G had a great season, competing in the USYSA National League, were finalists in the USYSA Region 1 league, and semi-finalists in the Region 1 Championships.
