One of the primary objectives of Empire United Soccer Academy’s mission is to provide exceptional youth soccer players with a challenging program that will offer opportunities to compete in state and regional competitions. It is our goal that these players will gain exposure to enhance their opportunities to further their development as student athletes at the college level.
Teams from our local academies (Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse) are the means to provide these program deliverables.
To enhance this goal, Empire United Soccer Academy will provide stateacademy team opportunities to players from local academies.
Select soccer is by definition competitive and therefore not everyone is selected for a team, but players from all local academies will be eligible to tryout for these special events. The club will look to involve as many players as possible.
Players from different academies will participate together on select teams where national level championships and competitions are pursued. These unique opportunities will challenge players to cope with new environments, expose them to new team mates, different coaches and new methodology. It will encourage good sportsmanship and teamwork.
The club will form select boy’s girls teams in each of the age groups including Under-11 through Under-17.
Our 2010 focus will involve the Boys and Girls U14 and U15 age groups. This year is our inaugural season participating in the US Club Soccer U14 Boys Pre-Academy. We will also support select teams vying for the USYSA National Championship at the Girls U14, Girls 15 and Boys U15 age groups.
It is our goal to offer these players optimal opportunities to gain the recognition that will enable them to achieve continued success as athletes on the country’s top collegiate teams, United States national teams, and/or professional soccer teams.
